An Adventure Session is designed to connect individuals, couples, families, and small groups with nature in some of Hawaii’s most known and off-the-beaten-path locations.

Although we are not a tour company or claim to be one, think of our services as your typical adventure day but with us as your confidants. We will show you some of our favorite locations and capture you in them all while learning about Hawaii’s culture and dynamic landscapes through the eyes of a modern local.

Yes! We capture images AND videos. All of our packages are curated based on clients we generally work with, but if you want to add professional video content to your session we can chat more about it on our Discovery Call.

Yes, if our packages don’t fit your needs and you want something more personalized we can create a custom session for you.

We usually offer suggestions based on your vision and overall adventure level, but you can absolutely choose the location where you want your session to take place.

If the location you have in mind is over 40 miles from our team’s home location, gas reimbursement will be added to your invoice.

If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to weather, the Company and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge. If Client is not able to reschedule their project due to limited availability in the Company schedule, the Client may cancel the project but will not receive a full refund, as refunds are determined by cancellation deadlines outlined in our Cancellations policy.

Cancellations

Session reservations may be canceled by Client up to 30 days prior to the session date for a 90% refund; Hawaii Adventure Portraits retains 10% for the processing and handling fee. You may cancel within 30 days of the date and time of the reservation for a 50% refund; we will retain the 50% balance to compensate Company and Photographers for loss of other service jobs.

Rescheduling Fees

If the Client wishes to reschedule the Company’s Service(s) or Client’s booked project dates, the Client agrees to notify the Company seventy-two (72) hours before their session date by email or phone number and include their desired new session date (based on the Company’s availability) and pay a rescheduling fee of $100 to compensate the Company for the loss of time and working with other clients. Rescheduled projects are only valid after the Client has paid the rescheduling fee. The Client has one year from the original project start date to rebook their project and pay the rescheduling fee, or the project will automatically be canceled after one year of original session start date. The Client may reschedule their project up to a maximum of three (3) times in one year. If the Client reschedules their project more than three (3) times in one year, the Company has the right to automatically cancel the Client’s project by notifying the Client in writing through email or phone number of their breach of Contract. If the Client wishes to rebook their project dates with the Company after the project has been canceled or considered in breach of contract, the Client will pay a new deposit, as the project would be considered a new project.

We are working on providing transportation for our guests to and from session locations.

Until we finally get our #AdventureMobile, we meet our clients at the location the session(s) will take place.

During your session we constantly show you the images we’re capturing so you get a better idea of what the photos look like so we can make any adjustments before the session is completed.

If we’re having way too much fun and you decide you want to add more time to your session, you can add on 30-minute increments at $150.

Your gallery will be edited and emailed to you within two-weeks of your session date.

We usually edit around 30-150 photos per every hour you book or what’s included in your deliverables.

If you’d like to have more images edited for you beyond your package deliverables you can add that on at $15 an image or $100 for 10 images.

More video edit requests or revisions are available at an hourly editing rate of $100.

Yes! Once your online gallery has been sent, you have the option to create custom prints in all sizes through our drop-shipping company.
